EasyESCO Further Development

EasyESCO is our web-based tool to enable communities to establish their own Energy Service Company where a manager is established within the community in a similar way to how maintenance companies operate in private flats now. EasyESCO takes care of most of the administration tasks including billing, ordering, regular/irregular communications and pricing. We hope to have the demonstration software published on the Internet very soon. We'll keep you posted.

GetWood - Woodpellet level monitoring

We are looking for opportunities to continue piloting our GetWood wood-pellet hopper level remote monitoring system. Wood-pellet, notoriously difficult to monitor, is a carbon-neutral form of energy which can be produced from sustainable sources such as old building materials. GetWood allows wood-pellet to be used reliably and easily in domestic and large-scale environments.

A thumbs up for Windows 7

We've now put Windows 7 on several machines following our pilot and we would like to give it a wholehearted thumbs up! For example, a client has a set of tablet PCs which ran so painfully slowly under Vista that they were almost unusable. An upgrade to Windows 7 has made those machines responsive, running at an acceptable speed. We've had no significant compatibility issues. Hurrah, a step forward in Windows at last.
